Internationally renowned calligrapher and
graphic designer Mamoun Sakkal has been studying and producing
Arabic and Islamic calligraphy for the past 25 years.
In addition to using calligraphy in his graphic design projects for numerous
clients, he can produce unique calligraphic designs to suite your particular
needs. Previous work was used to enhance newspaper and magazine articles, used
as part of book covers and posters, used as film title animation and project
proposals, and in web sites.
Designs are done in several styles:
Kufi with its many variation:
Early Kufi, Eastern Kufi, Foliate Kufi, Knotted Kufi, and Square Kufi.
Cursive with its many
styles: Naskh, Thuluth, Nastaliq, and Diwani.
Modern calligraphy and typography if non of the
above is appropriate for your application.

The cost is $150 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours, plus cost of shipping, printed and computer media. The fee is to be prepaid in US funds to Sakkal Design, and mailed with project information to our address below. Turn around time is usually one week for simple jobs, with shorter turn around time available for additional rush charges. Please provide a brief of your project requirements, including text, style, type and region of use, and time schedule, for a price quotation.
The artwork is provided in printed or digital format as you request at the beginning of the project.

distinctive English logotype.
